I was fortunate to meet a very colourful character called David Burrow from Penwortham. Who refers to himself as "The Artist" as this is how he is known to many shop owners in and around Preston. He paints primarily for himself from postcards or what he sees. He goes around Preston day to dayasking people to buy a print off him, as I did or to allow him to use their shop or cafe as a make shift gallery to sell his works. His is heavily influenced by cubist artists Picasso and Lyonel Feininger. A very interesting chap and a pleasure to photograph.
